With so many demands on today’s families and the increased focus on early brain development, literacy and healthy habits, families need all the support they can get to nurture the potential of our children. That’s why child care and early learning programs at the Y focus on holistically-nurturing child development by providing a safe and healthy place to learn foundational skills, develop healthy, and trusting relationships, and build self-reliance through the Y values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility. The Y’s childcare programs are operated under the State of Texas Licensing standards, and individuals may qualify for CCS.
Our KidZone is one part of our early learning programs, which offers opportunities for early child development as a drop-in child care service, meeting the needs of our members. KidZone elevates traditional drop-in child care to include healthy eating, fun physical activity, positive relationships, and enriching activities.
