Youth Volleyball

Youth Girls Volleyball 

At the YMCA of Abilene, our volleyball leagues are designed to develop fundamental volleyball skills while learning teamwork, strategy, and sportsmanship. Skills taught include serving, passing, setting, hitting, and the rules of the game. The focus of the league is to have fun, meet new friends and play volleyball in a non-competitive environment. We offer volleyball for ages 6 years - 16 years old. All coaches are volunteers, and the YMCA sports staff will officiate all games. 

Volunteer coaches are eligible to receive 30% off their child's registration fee and must register in-house only to receive a discount. 

To be eligible for the membership price, you must be an active and current member throughout the sports program

Spring 2025
Registration: February 22 to March 20, 2025

Late registration: March 21 and March 22, 2025 (Must be done in-house, $20.00 late fee will be applied)

Summer 2025
Registration: May 24 - June 26, 2024

Late registration: December 27- December  28, 2024 (Must be done in-house, $20.00 late fee will be applied)

Games will be played on Friday evenings
